INDUSTRIAL & TOWERS
Airey Taylor Consulting has a record of versatility in design of industrial and heavy engineering structures, mining and airport structures. Numerous industrial factory designs have been rapidly and cost-effectively completed, providing responsive technical answers to meet the specialised needs of each industrial application. Advanced structural design has also been central to the success of environmentally sensitive applications like pharmaceutical and laboratory facilities for chemical and hospital services. Clients include the Australian Defence Forces for specialised applications like the Torpedo Maintenance Facility at Garden Island, WA. We also specialise in steel structures, hard stand pavements, cranes and towers. Our record in analysis, investigation and design of towers and masts of all types is substantial. We have analysed, investigated and/or designed over 300 towers and masts of every description throughout Australia, including cyclonic areas. We have full and varied experience in the design and employment of screw, belpile and other piling systems for anchorage of a variety of lattice, free standing and guyed towers and monopoles. In conjunction with Peter Sampson, we were responsible for the introduction of component systems for tilt-up walling construction in industrial projects. The initial application of this technology was for self-locking storage units in Subiaco, Spearwood and Guildford, leading to later use of tilt-up panels in multilevel industrial and other building applications like the Fremantle Technical School and Sandovers Warehousing Project (Fremantle). This technique is now widely used throughout Australia. This Web Site is best viewed
