Airey Taylor Consulting has provided alternative design solutions on an increasing number of projects. We offer to effect economies of time and structure costs on high-cost structures. We possess a comprehensive understanding of available design options, as well as an extensive knowledge of the construction industry. Substantial design savings of up to 26% in structural costs of the total structure have been earned on some of the following projects.

A technically superior engineering solution, working in tandem with architectural sensitivity, created an effective commercial and retail resolution within a prevailing architectural ethos. The structure was redesigned and re-documented to achieve outstanding economies using banded prestressed slab construction.

Attakarn Prasit Apartments - Bangkok. This complex comprised two 7 level buildings to accommodate the Australian Embassy Staff. The multilevel post-tensioned project, originally designed and documented by others, was redesigned and re-documented by Airey Taylor Consulting for client Entact Clough Pty Limited, to whom the contract was awarded.

This $10 million project established Airey Taylor Consulting’s expertise in the field of Defence related engineering where strict engineering design criteria was required for environmentally hazardous and hostile conditions.

An alternative design overcame technical and economic considerations involved with the initial design by others.

Substantial cost savings were made by superior engineering design.

Since completion Airey Taylor Consulting has been commissioned to design the structural and civil components of HMAS Stirling, Stage 3, on Garden Island.

Regency Apartments for the Fini Group - Airey Taylor Consulting was commissioned by the Fini Group to review the structural design and documentation prepared by others to achieve economies through more effective structural solutions. This has been achieved, and the 25 unit four level development in East Perth was completed in 1999.
