Sports Recreation Facility - Joondalup (right)
Airey Taylor Consulting was commissioned by Barry
Hall & Associates and Donovan Payne Architects Pty Ltd for the
Edith Cowan Sports Recreation Facility.
The complex comprises a multipurpose sports hall and
general activities room, administration areas with reception, kitchen,
change rooms and child minding facilities. Airey Taylor Consulting adopted
the use of triangular space frame tubular trusses to incorporate the
architectural concept of curving roof with skylights over the sports hall.
